XLIM is a French joint research institute of the
University of Limoges and the CNRS. XLIM was founded in 2006 as
a fusion of 4 laboratories: LACO, LMSI, UMOP and IRCOM. XLIM is
active in the field of informatics, mathematics, optics, electro-magnetics
and electronics.
The department C2S2 has worldwide recognition in the field of
large-signal microwave transistor characterization techniques.
|
|
As a spin-off of the XLIM laboratory (formerly IRCOM)
AMCAD provides test, modeling and design services on RF & microwave
passive and active components for industrial and institutional partners
delivering RF & microwave products, for military and civil applications.
Founded in 2004 AMCAD Engineering brings its knowledge, experience
and equipment to the challenges of providing RF & microwave
solutions for component, circuit and sub-system manufacturers. |

The project supports improved telecommunications and
data transfer for U.S. industry, the public safety community, and
the general public through the development of improved measurement
methods for wireless systems in the presence of nonlinearities;
providing measurement assurance both from first principles and through
comparative methods; and by developing straightforward, bench-level
methods for improved system performance. |
"Agile Devices is available for subcontracting and consulting. They have a well equipped microwave laboratory with the test equipment needed to support a vast array of RF and microwave research up to 13.6 GHz and up to 5 Watts. They have facilities for cryogenic device testing down to about 35 Kelvin, with experience doing microwave work at these temperatures. Agile Devices is also a source of high quality, low cost superconducting wafers."
